They Call Us Monsters documents the experience of three juvenile offenders who face adult sentences for their crimes. The boys are placed in a Los Angeles facility which houses serious violent offenders. You can watch the trailer here.
The film has been nominated for and has won several awards from film festivals across the country. After the film, we will be hosting Orange County Defense Attorney Kate Corrigan, and former California State Senator Joseph Dunn to discuss the film and juvenile justice policy with the audience. The screening and Q&A session will be an exciting opportunity to learn more about the juvenile justice system and we hope you will join us!
